My work focuses on intelligent software systems for digital health in low-resource settings.
My research interests lie at the intersection of data science, machine learning, and software engineering, with a focus on clinical data systems and context-aware healthcare technologies.
I am also a researcher with Frank Acquaye, working on an end-to-end speech-to-text pipeline for Ghanaian Kwa languages, where I explore machine learning and deep learning methods for speech technologies in underrepresented language contexts.
I graduated with a BSc. in Computer Science (Honours) from Ashesi University. During my undergraduate studies, I investigated why many health software systems fail in the Ghanaian context and prototyped a context-aware Hospital Information Management System integrating facial recognition and ML-based analytics, under the supervision of Dennis Asamoah-Owusu. This work later evolved into a research-driven startup, M’Ayaresa, which I currently lead.
